Sorry for your families loss,Betty was such a great person. She will be missed and will live on in our memories forever.

It's with a heavy heart that we send this note. We wish we could be there to comfort all who are saddened by Betty's tragic passing. Despite the miles between us remember that we too are mourning with you and will remember Betty as the vibrant, and effervescent person she was.

I'm sooo sorry to hear of Betty tragic ending.I pray she's at peace now as life had given her some unfortunate paths she took. I'll always remember her lovelyness about her.She had a beautifull heart and soul.We used to go to Legion for Wed.buffet and watch the golden oldies cut the rug.We previousy would dance when her feet were healthy.I met Ashley once and she ever would like to get into the dirt and learn gardening,i would be glad to share that with you.Your Mom was Betty Boop in our world ,beautiful,cheeky and full of happiness.I'm planting a Evans cherry tree in her honour.i wasn't able to cry for her until now,i guess i was in denile.God bless her babies and look after their broken hearts.Hugs .Lady Dye.

Hello Ashley and Devin We met your mom thru Dan. Dan and Wade have been friends since high school. We really only ever saw each other when camping at "the acreage". Your Mom was quite funny. Of course we all heard some of the FANTASTIC medical stories. The last story that sticks in my mind was about your cousins wedding last year. She relayed the event to me and we discussed how fortunate and unfortunate same sex couples are. Of course we had giggles ( mostly about house guests and such). Betty was gem who we always looked forward to seeing. She will be thought of and missed. She left this life too soon. We extend our sympathies to you and your family. I am so sorry and saddened too hear of your loss. Betty was a wonderful nurse and was so kind to my family and myself in our difficult time, she was a kind and gentle lady and always had a smile on her face, she will be very deeply missed! God Bless You All! Tammy King

Eric and I were saddened to hear of Betty's tragic passing. We remember Betty from the 'old days' of camping at Lazy Acres when she was still enrolled in her psych nursing program which she excelled in. If we didn't understand then that nursing was her passion, we were able to experience it first hand as she cared for my mother during her final days. My family came to have deep respect for her abilities as a nurse and her compassion as a human being. No doubt, her passing has left a trail of broken hearts. No doubt, she also fills those same hearts with some wonderful memories.

Being Betty's niece, I am so thankful for the wonderful notes posted. She is truly missed by her family and our hearts still ache for just one more moment with her. My Aunt was more like an older sister to me and I was very fortunate to end our last conversation with "I love you". Since her passing, we have heard so many experiences where Betty sincerely touched many lives, especially when families were losing a loved one. Her heart and soul were seen through her ability and willingness to take the time to help others with loss and healing through her grace and kindness. She is at peace now, free of pain and with all of our loved ones waiting for the day we all come home. Thank you for your condolences and may God bless all who knew and loved her.

Betty had the best smile and a great sense of humour. She could be quite silly at times (which was wonderful), and she was pretty good at rollerblading when I knew her (even though she was in her forties then). I am sorry to hear of her passing. She really was a fun-loving person who had funny stories about her nursing duties. Happy-go-lucky is the way I will remember her.
