William Milne

V. W. Brother, William (Bill) Milne, born in Aberdeen, Scotland to William and Georgina Milne, predeceased, sister Lorna Milne, predeceased. Various Nieces and Nephews. He immigrated from Scotland with his family at the age of 7. Survived by his wife Carole Milne, Adam Milne, Alisa & Mark Nielsen and a granddaughter Rachelle Nielsen and her partner Mitch Lange. Scottish relatives, Doug and Pauline Watson, Calum and Sarah Watson, Catriona and Stuart Cookson and their families. Passed May 25, 2026 at Peace Arch Hospital, at the age of 79. He was employed by YVR for 30 years as a Maintenance Superintendent. He was a dedicated Mason and Gizeh Shriner and in the Oriental Band for many years. A member of Unity Lodge, Grandview Trinity Lodge #96, Peace Arch Shrine Club #23, The Pals Club of Vancouver. Served as Worshipful Master of Grandview-Trinity Lodge No. 96 from 2007-2008 and Secretary 2016-2019. Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of B.C. & Yukon – Serving as Grand Stewart 2015 -2016

Bill was a wonderful person, a very caring, kind man, and we were blessed with 37 years together. We travelled throughout the world and did many other things together – too long to mention here. His death was unexpected, due to complications with his health. At Bill’s request there will be no celebration of life.
