Messages of Condolence

It’s been almost 2 months since you passed away hard to believe that I will never see you again or laugh with you again you are missed greatly I think of you every day missing you Bill love you big brother Karen  ~ Karen Rintoul Darbyson

It’s been almost two months since you passed. I know you weren’t in my life much due to your struggles, but when we went to see you before you passed, it brought back some memories.I remember the time we had just reconnected after a few years apart. I had briefly mentioned my obsession with the show Fanboy and Chum Chum — it was right before my birthday. As many of you know, when you’re nine, obsessions don’t last long. But by the time my birthday came around, you had one of your painter friends make me a custom picture of the characters with the words, “Happy 9th Birthday Amanda.”I didn’t realize it back then, but that was such a thoughtful gesture — even if I wasn’t into the show anymore, I still appreciated how you went out of your way to do something special for me.Over the years you were gone, I often wondered where you were and how you were doing. Now that I’m entering adulthood, I understand more than I used to. I really wish I had the chance to talk with you about the person I’ve become.I’ll always hold onto the memories I have of you.Rest in peace, Uncle Bill.Love,Your niece, Amanda Rintoul ~ Amanda Rintoul
