Edwin "Ed" Wiens

Ed passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Surrey Memorial Hospital to enter into the presence of his Lord. Ed will be greatly missed by his children, Sandy (Doug) Epp, Valerie (Mark) Carson, Ralph (Sandra); grandchildren, Meghan (Mike) Simpson, Brittany (Dan) Baker, Joshua and Michaela; great-granddaughters Emma and Piper, along with many extended family members and friends.

There will be a private interment on Saturday August 6th, followed by a Memorial Service at 11am. The service will be held at the Oasis Auditorium at Elim Village, 9008 158th Street, Surrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to YFC Youth Unlimited, a ministry Ed had supported for years.

I have many fond memories of the days when Ed, I and others in our group were still single. I am one of those men in white jackets at Ed's wedding, the one on the extreme right is me.
