In Loving Memory of Cameron Andrew Widger

It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our son Cameron Andrew Widger, who left us too soon at the age of 25 on Feb 28th, 2025. Cameron was born on Sept 27th, 1999 in Regina. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, whose presence brought joy to all who knew him.
Cameron was a kind, compassionate and creative soul. He had a remarkable ability to brighten any room with his infectious smile and positive energy. He loved playing disc golf, volleyball and softball. His passions were reflected in his dedication and talent. Above all, Cameron treasured his relationships with his family and friends. His loyalty, kindness and willingness to help others will always be remembered.
Though his time with us was far too brief, Cameron's impact was immeasurable. He was a true friend to many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Cameron is survived by his parents Lorne and Amie Widger, his siblings Annika, Leo, Tessa and Della, and his grandparents Marj Widger and Doug and Lee Stubel. He will also be remembered by numerous aunts and uncles and the loved ones who will miss him deeply. A celebration of Cameron's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to the Regina Autism Resource Center.
Rest in peace, Cameron. You will forever remain in our hearts. We love you to the moon and back.
