We regret to announce the passing of James Edward Whiston at the age of 80 years on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Sarcee Hospice in Calgary. Jim is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jan Whiston; sons, Stephen Whiston (Cathy), Rhett Brown (Dorothy); daughters, Pauline, Cindy and Mary; brother, Robert (June) Whiston as well as numerous other family and friends. A special thanks to Jim’s granddaughters, Nicole Gaddi and Trinity Brown for all their love and support.

A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at The Order of the Eagles, 9303 – 5 Street SE, Calgary, AB on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim’s memory to The Lung Association (AB & NWT), #208, 17420 Stony Plain Road NW, Edmonton, AB, T5S 1K6.
