Bill (Wilhelm) Weinbender
February 11, 2022

Bill (Wilhelm) Weinbender passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his parents and 8 siblings. Bill is survived by his wife Michelle Weinbender; three children Jay, Beth and Tim Weinbender; four step-children Danelle Graham, Michael, Mark and Darren Peill; as well as twelve grandchildren.
Bill was born on September 13, 1933 in Ernfold, Saskatchewan. He was the youngest of nine children. He worked for many years as a farmer and realtor but the highlight of his work life was being a Walmart greeter where he was paid to chat with people. A treasured time in his life was the twelve years spent at Regina Beach “living the dream”. Bill was a life-long music lover and has now joined his siblings to reunite the Weinbender Family Orchestra in the sky.
Special thanks to the wonderful medical professionals who have cared for Bill over the past years; in particular to the staff on Ward 3D at the Pasqua Hospital for their exceptional care and to the home care angels for their dedication and kindness. At Bill’s request, there will be no funeral service.

Sad to hear the passing of Bill, believing for comfort, peace and strength for Michelle and all the kids. I will never forget how hard Bill could make me laugh when I was in my teen years. Everytime I would have a drink with him he would accuse me of being rude as I was sticking my nose in the glass when I drank. Fun times around the pool on Merlin as well, I always though he was a real cool cat with the young people. God Bless Brent & Tracey ~ Brent Rathy
