Vivian Walroth, passed away peacefully at the Rocky View Lodge, Crossfield, Alberta on Friday, November 4, 2011 at the age of 86. She will be forever loved and remembered by her two daughters, Donna (Lachie) McKinnon and Darlene Speager, four grandchildren, Lance (Holly) and Laird (Alison) McKinnon, Chris (Stacey) and Carrissa Speager and one great-grandchild, Jeremy Speager. She is also survived by one sister Enid (Tom) Reeve and sisters-in-law Nadia Lind and Georgina Walroth. She was predeceased by her husband Robert and two brothers Mervin and Ralph. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Inverlea Ladies Club and the Crossfield Golden Key Club
Mom’s greatest passion was handicrafts – knitting, needlepoint, plastic canvas and crochet. Each grandchild was given a needlepoint picture and also an afghan for their first born. A Memorial Service will be held at the Crossfield United Church, 1005 Ross Street, Crossfield, on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm, with Brenda Watt, MTS officiating. The family wish to thank the Rocky View residents and staff for the wonderful care given to Mom.
