Predeceased by his parents, Jakov and Vivian, and two older brothers, Denny and Loyde, he is survived by his wife, Marika, and daughter, Liisa, as well as two daughters from his previous marriage, Jaki (Dan) and Jeni (Ian), five grandchildren, Tristan, Shayne, Finn, Henry and Katherine, his two brothers, Ivan (Carol) and Wyley (Diane), sister, Brandi (Alex) and several nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed, but remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, from 2:00pm - 5:00pm at the Teamsters' Hall in Vancouver, BC. In support of Jack's devotion to coaching and his belief in the important role sports can play in a child's life, memorial donations can be made to local KidSport chapters.
