Janna Catharina Vanderhoek

In loving memory of Janna Vanderhoek, beloved sister, Mother, Grandma and Oma. Predeceased by her husband Klaas, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on August 7, 2013.

Survived by her dear children Adrian (Wendy), Frank, Marty, Nell (Nick), Betty, George (Rhonda), Joanne (Doug) and Anne (Terry). Janna was blessed with 20 special grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held Monday, August 12, 2013 at 9:30a – 11:00a at Alternative Funeral Home 3070 – 275a St Aldergrove. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00p at Bethel Reformed Church 3260 Gladwin Rd, Abbotsford.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Live Different Hero Holiday Foundation: Building Homes in Mexico for people in need, there will be a donation box available at the memorial service.

You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence for the family.

Mooie momenten hebben Dingena en ik meegemaakt met tante Janny zowel in Nederland als ook in Canada ,zij was altijd bezig om het ons naar de zin te maken en te zorgen dat we niets tekort kwamen als we in Canada waren.wij zullen haar missen ,wat ons rust geeft is dat ze niet meer hoeft te lijden . Wij zijn dankbaar dat we haar en ome Klaas hebben mogen kennen en zullen nog vaak terug denken aan de fijne tijden die we met elkaar hebben gehad. Aad en Dingena.
