It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill.

He is survived by his children, Rudy, Michael, Monique, Larissa, Terrence, and grandchildren Willem, Tai, Xavier, Brooke, Christian, and Darian. And daughters-in-law Christy and Marlene.

Bill grew up in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in the late 1950’s. He was a teacher, elder in the church, missionary, author, and visual artist. He was also a great caregiver to our mom, Ena, who sadly passed away in 2018 from Alzheimer’s. We know they both went home to be with the lord.

Messages of Condolence

Our condolences on the passing of your dear father & grandfather. I (Bill) have so many wonderful memories of him as my teacher, as a colleague and serving with as an elder. He was a wonderful man. May you feel God’s loving arms carrying you through these difficult days. Rest secure in the sure knowledge that he is home with his Saviour and re-united with your dear mother.

To Rudy, Michael, Monique, Larissa (Brooke, Christian & Darian) & Terrence, For our 50th anniversary, we were looking through our wedding album, there was a picture of your parents. What a memory- we at their wedding, they at ours. Just a note to let you know that that I was happy to be able to attend to honour your parents and also to be there for you as well. You are loved & cared for. We are praying for you.
