Richard Arial Troute

Richard Troute passed away peacefully at his home in Beiseker on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the age of 78 years.

He leaves behind his loving wife Leola; daughters Shirley, Betty (Lawrence) and Penny (Craig); grandsons Richard and Brian (Sue); great grandsons Adam, Jayden, Alex, Austin, Daniel and Atlee as well as many other family and friends. Richard was predeceased by his grandson Tony.

A Memorial Service will be held at Moose Lodge, 4885 Hubalta Road SE, Calgary on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 2:00 pm.

So sorry to hear of the passing of my old friend Dick Troute. I remember the many happy times I had riding my horses around what is now Arbour Lake. Dick was always there to lend a helping hand, which was a good thing since I really didn't know what I was doing! I no longer have horses but often long for those days from long ago. I will always have great memories of Uncle Dick, and I talk often about how we used to brand the cattle and how he would extract the prairie oysters for the dogs to eat and the odd drunken weekend cowboy to enjoy. He will be missed but never forgotten. Love Daryn, Heather, family.
