Rintje "Dick" Tolsma

Rintje (Dick) Tolsma passed away at the age of 87. He was a faithful child of God and went to be with his Lord and Saviour on March 29, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 6 @ 11:00am at Fleetwood Christian Reformed Church (9195 – 160 St. Surrey, BC).

Dick (Okkie, Pim) lived in Holland until 1950, immigrated to Canada and married Penny Van Golen. He touched the lives of many through his life and work. Predeceased by three infant sons, his mother, father, three brothers and one sister. Loving remembered by his wife Penny (Van Golen) of 62 years, children Barb, Frank (Gail), Elly (Fred), Jim (Carolynne), Jennifer (Dave), 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him” Psalm 91: 14-15
