Berendina Tolkamp

Berendina (Diny) Tolkamp passed away quietly into the presence of her Lord on August 30.

Diny was born on March 27, 1936, in Dinxperlo, the Netherlands. She married Christiaan Tolkamp on May 25, 1956. Following their marriage, Diny and Chris immigrated to Canada and settled in Ladner, BC. In 1974,
they moved to Langley, BC.

Diny will be lovingly remembered by her husband Chris, her children Grace (Bill) Dykman, Joe (Audrey) Tolkamp, Art and Tracy (Moore) Kleingeltink, Lolita (Rob) Plantinga, Tim (Liz) Tolkamp, Calvin (Marianne Loenen) Tolkamp, Ettina (Greg) Fedorchuk, and Christa (Ron) Eenkooren, 35 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends. Diny was predeceased by her grandson Dean William (1987), her grandson Josiah (1994), her daughter Joanne (2008), her great-grandson Johnathen (2014), and her grandson-in-law Jeremiah (2020).

A service of worship and celebration will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 3:30 pm at Willoughby CRC 20523-72 Ave in Langley. Private interment at the Fort Langley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to World Renew.
