1941 – 2019

Maria Tobias passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the age of 78 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and their families; as well as extended family in Calgary and Hungary. Maria was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; granddaughter, Audrey; and son-in-law, Gary. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 1414 Shawnessy Blvd. SW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank all the staff at George Boyak Care Centre, Peter Lougheed Centre and Rockyview General Hospital for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maria’s memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 100, 119 – 14 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
