Thomas David Ferguson passed away peacefully in his home on September 24, 2025, at the age of 98 years. He was a man of great faith and of great devotion to his family and friends. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 73 years Betty, his children Joan (Russel) Bain and David (Vicki) Ferguson, six grandchildren Rachelle (Andrew), Leonard (Mary), Trevor (Magen), Bethi (Addison), Cara (Chris), Julian, and twelve great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on October 25, 2025 at South Vancouver Community Church, 2325 East 54th Avenue, Vancouver B.C.

Messages of Condolence

Dear Betty, Joan and David (grand children, Great grand children…)I am very sad. I have loved Tom for over 40 years even though I haven’t seen or spoken to him for ages. He has been a parental figure for me in my youth : caring, wise, warm and funny. He was a good man, a rare encounter and I feel privileged to have shared some very special moments with him. My thoughts go mainly to Betty, who, along with Tom, have welcomed me so many times in their house, supported and encouraged me when I was struggling with life. I have been praying for Tom and will continue to do so in my own way as my faith is nothing like his…His strength was in his faith, my weakness is my doubts Claire BARBIER
