It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Helene on December 11, 2015 at age 78 with her family at her side. She is survived by her loving husband, Lionel, to whom she was married for 55 years, her four children: Monique (Gary), Richard (Rhonda), Gina (Michael) and Robert (Tanja), as well as 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Helene raised her family in Abbotsford, BC and has been a long time parishioner at St. Anne’s Catholic Church as well as a member of the Catholic Women’s League. She enjoyed Aquafit, travelling, gardening and spending time with her family.

She will be greatly missed by many family members and friends. Prayers will be held on Thursday December 17, 2015 at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11am with a luncheon to follow. Both will be held at St Anne’s Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Ave, Abbotsford, BC.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Helene’s honour to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
