March 28, 1942 – January 15, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marlene on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the age of 75. She leaves behind to mourn her best friend and husband, Glen; son, Clint (Kathy); sister, Bev (& Tiger); granddogs, Ceili and Emma; and numerous other family and extended family. She will also be missed by her friends at AA and Al-Anon. She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Fredericke and granddog, Sydney.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Airdrie Town and Country Ctr, 275 Jensen Drive NE, Airdrie, AB on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marlene’s memory to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 – 29 Street NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 4N2.

My deepest condolences to Marlene,s family. We worked together at Walmart .and we also took our breaks together. She was such a sweet gentle soul. We had many laughs in the dept and in the lunchroom. I was so sad when I heard of her passing. To her family, keep your memories alive in your hearts, She is watching over you. RIP Marlene. You are flying with the angels now.
