Leslie Szirka

Leslie (Laslo) Szirka passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, April 17, 2020. Born in Olbia, Czech Republic in 1935. He moved to Hungary with his family at the age of 4 to avoid the occupation of Czechoslovakia by the Germans. He grew up in Aranosapat, Hungary. He came to Canada in 1956 where he met Julia and got married. He loved fishing and camping with his friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Marie; and his brother, Albert.
