STYANT, Sidney James

Sidney Styant passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 29, 2017 in Airdrie at the age of 60 years. Sidney was the son of Sidney Eric & Anne Yakmyshyn and born on May 11, 1956 in Paget, Bermuda. He loved the mountains, sports of all kinds, reading and his two dogs. He was a generous son, brother, husband, grandfather and friend to Wendy & Fiona, Molly (Malone), Nigel (Nicole), Duncan (Tasha), and Colin (Holly) as well as his grandsons, Tyr & Zeus. He also leaves behind many friends and relatives in the U.K. Sidney was predeceased by his father, Sidney Eric; and his sister, Denise.

A Celebration of Sidney’s Life will be held at The Clubhouse, 12 Woodside Rise NW, Airdrie, AB, on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm. For those who would like, donations may be made in Sidney’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, #204, 2323 – 32 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 6Z3.
