Nick Stratulat

At 97 years of age, Nick Stratulat passed away from this life into the arms of Jesus on November 23, 2012 in the Menno Hospital, Abbotsford, B.C. He was born in 1915 in Limerick, Sask.

He is survived by his loving wife, Eva, of 75 plus years of marriage and his children Flora and (Delbert) Chant, Peter and (Lucille) Stratulat, Nelson and (Louise) Stratulat, Eli Stratulat, Percy and (Lorna) Stratulat, Madalene Stanley, Wilson and (Marlene) Stratulat, and Rosalie and (Fred) Davies; 23 grandchildren, 43 great grand children and 3 great, great grandchildren and his sister, Clair (Annie) Marusiak of Regina.

Visitation will take place 6-8 pm Friday November 30, 2012 at Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services, 3070-275A St., Aldergrove, B.C. Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Solid Rock Christian Fellowship, 34371-4th Avenue, Abbotsford, B.C.

I want to sent my sympathy and God's peace and love to Eva and all the family My prayers have been with you all ever since I was notified of Nick's passing on to His Father in heaven He's last words to me where "God Bless you Penny" What a wonderful memory to have.I miss Him. AS I was not able to attend the service I thought I would add some of my thoughts. When I first met Nick He own two Horse and black Lab dog.His garden had no weeds and the eggs were orange and the best eggs I had ever tasted.You see Nick love farming.He was a kind and never judge people or said a bad word against anyone. I know He would thank His Children and grandchildren for the help they gave Him and Eva in their old age and special thank-you would go to Louise.Nick will be missed by many; including me.May God continue to give His peace and love at this time Love Penny
