Kevin Strandlund
July 6, 2016

A gentle and loving heart stopped beating far too soon on Wednesday night. Left behind to grieve his loss and honour his life are Kevin’s partner Maureen Schindler, son Christopher (Kathleen), granddaughter Alice, mother Charlotte, father Dale, brother Paul (Aletta) and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Kevin’s greatest joys were his granddaughter Alice and son Chris. Maureen was the love of Kevin’s life. They had only four short years together, but they were very happy years full of adventures and lots of laughs and love. Charlotte, Dale, and Paul and the rest of us who loved Kevin are left with broken hearts, but so many wonderful memories.
Kevin loved spending time outdoors, camping, and fishing in the summer and curling in the winter. Whatever the season and whatever the activity, a cup of coffee was always nearby. And if anyone ever needed a helping hand, Kevin would be there for them for the mere price of a cup of coffee.
A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Regina Elks Hall, 4915 - 1st Ave. N., Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, kindly support one of the following organizations with a charitable donation: Regina No. 9 Elks Club (children’s fund), Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
