Sylvia Elaine Stevenson (nee Gilbertson)

Sylvia (Syb) passed away suddenly, surrounded by her loving family. Syb is survived by her husband of 54 years Don; her daughters, Cindy (Phil), Cheryl (Bryan) and Tammie (Jeff); brothers, Keith (Jeanette), Grant (Jan) and Tex (MaryJane) and sister Beverley. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Breighanne, Kirby, Bryce and Shealeigh. Syb was predeceased by her daughter Velaine, mother Blanche, father Bill and step-father Widdy.

A Private Family Ceremony. An Open House will be held at the home of her daughter Tammie, 502 Fairways Crescent NW, Airdrie on Sunday, November 20th at 2:00pm for all who wish to attend.

If you wish, in memoriam, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alberta/NWT Division, #200-325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.

Dear Mr. Stevenson, Cindy, Cheryl & Tammie I was sadden to read about the passing of your mom. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I have many fond memories of your mom, especially being taught how to clean a sink after dishes. Also reading of the passing of Velaine, she rode my bus quite often. Again my deepest sympathies.
