Ethel Marie Stephens

Ethel Marie Stephens (nee Letourneau) passed away at the age of 95 of natural causes on Friday, March 23, 2012 in the Extendicare Nursing Home.  She was predeceased by her husband, Joe in 1991, and her son Bob in 2007.  She is survived by her sons Jim (Ruth), Ron (Carol), Ted (Linda), daughter-in-law Jean and her daughter Marion Sage.  She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren, as well as one sister Marie Roe and one brother Clarence Letourneau.  She will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and “adopted children”.  Prayers will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508 – 48th Ave., Red Deer, AB on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 7:00 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 28 at 11:00 am.  Donations in memory of Ethel may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, 202, 5913 – 50th Ave., Red Deer, AB T4N 4C4 or a charity of your choice.

hi I met your Mom when we were both on rehab unit 35. She was the most positive person I met in my entire life. such a sweethart. no wonder she had her adopted children I missed her when she left unit 35. So sorry for your loss. barbara hill
