April 13, 1972 – May 13, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, Edward (Eddie) Grant Stang at the age of 44. Eddie was born and raised in Calgary and growing up, he was active in skating, swimming and bowling. Eddie will be remembered for his beautiful smile and big hugs.

Eddie is lovingly remembered by his father, Edward (Sonya) Stang; and mother, Diana (Lorne) Cox. He was predeceased by his brother, David Stang in 1990. Eddie’s family would like to thank Home Care and the Chinook Hospice staff for their kindness and compassion towards Eddie and also thank Jane Laird and her staff, Angie, Heather, Nadia, Mavis and Sharon for the many years that Eddie spent with them and called being with them Home. Most of all we would like to thank Dr. Kelly Young for his sincere kindness and help with Eddie’s medical needs, especially in the last year.
