Elisa passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 after a 20-year struggle with Alzheimer’s. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Valorie (Angelo) Paolera, Katharine (Cliff) Hawes, and Kathy Marie Bruce; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter. She is predeceased by her daughter, Sharon Schnell; son-in-law, George Schnell; and the father of her children, Basil Risteau. Elisa was a long-term resident at Carewest Signal Pointe. Our thanks go to the wonderful staff, especially House 2 who provided exceptional care for her for the past 15 years. As per Elisa’s wishes, no service will be held.
