SMITH, Mary “Noreen” (nee Lynd)
The family of Aunt Noreen are sad to announce her peaceful passing on Monday, June 19, 2017 in Calgary, AB. She was born in Moosomin, SK to John and Annie Lynd. She is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and relatives in Ireland. Noreen was predeceased by her parents; her husband and soulmate, Rusty; her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Jack Mather; her brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Josie Lynd; her brother and sister-in-law, Wallace and Marie Lynd; and her niece, Bonnie Jean Dearle (nee Lynd).
The family would like to thank the AgeCare Seton for the wonderful care given to Noreen this past year. In respect of her wishes, there will be no Funeral Service. A Memorial will be held at a later date. If wishing to do so, donations in Noreen’s memory may be made to any Legion of your choice.

Messages of Condolence
We were saddened to hear of Noreen's passing. I have so many childhood memories of Rusty and Noreen, as they were very dear friends of my mom and dad, Kay and Julian Nowak. Grey cup parties, cutting hinds of beef, making wine, stripping wallpaper, hunting trips with Rusty, my dad and Hal Lenzin are just a few of the memories I have.
