It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister, Lorene. She passed away suddenly at Spruce Lodge, Calgary, AB on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She is survived by her son, Robert (Lee) Empey; two grandchildren, Cody and Curtis; two sisters, Nancie (Kelly) Eshpeter and Gwen (Ray) Sheets; nephew, David and niece, Kristi. Lorene will be very much missed by her family and many friends at the Lodge. A Private Family gathering will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorene’s memory to the Calgary Humane Society (SPCA), 4455 – 110 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 2T7. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.myalternatives.ca.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your dear loved one . Are we not truly blessed with the hope our Creator has given us of seeing our loved ones again. God's loving comfort from the scriptures brings us much relief and confidence in the blessings of His New Kingdom. At Revelation 21:4, John 5:28, and Isaiah 35:5,6 He promises to end death and sickness and to resurrect our dead loved ones. Soon he will wipe out every tear from our eyes so we can live in peace and happiness with those we love in his promised New Kingdom here on earth. Soon we will have no reason to grieve anymore.
