The family of Clarence Richard Sisson are saddened to announce his sudden passing from cardiac complications, on June 13th, 2013 at the age of 53. Rick was born in Espanola, Ontario on June 29th, 1959. Rick will be sadly missed by his mother, Sharon (John) Sisson of Airdrie, AB; his father, Fred (Bonnie) Sisson of Kingston, Ontario; his sister, Debbie (Greg) Flood of Kingston Ontario; his brother, Tim (Ingrid) Sisson-Kerrigan of Oakville, Ontario; his sister, Beth (Brent) Bowerman of Calgary, AB and his brother, Chris (Fawn) Sisson of Calgary, AB as well as many nieces and nephews.
When Rick was a boy he loved to play in the woods and would often bring “critters” home with him. On one occasion he had a box full of garter snakes and when the box tipped over he was eagerly picking them up and stuffing them into his pants pockets so that they wouldn’t get away. Rick was an honest, hard working man and had a long career as a concrete cutter. He loved to fish and would spend many hours out in his boat enjoying nature. He also loved t-bone steaks and a good cup of tea. A Celebration of his Life was attended by his immediate family and dear friend Shirley on June 18th, 2013.
If you choose, a donation may be made in Rick’s name to ‘Potential Place’ 1130-10th Ave. SW, Calgary, AB, T2R 0B6 (403)216-9250. This was an organization that helped Rick. He had a huge heart and will be missed by us all.
