SILVER, Kenneth Morris
August 18, 1934 – October 31, 2014

Ken Silver passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Ken was born in Medicine Hat in 1934 and was the youngest of 11 children. Ken joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1951 in Calgary. He was stationed in Winnipeg where he met and married Janice Hill. During his service, Ken and his family travelled extensively until he retired from the Canadian Armed Forces to Calgary in 1976. He worked for 20 years with the Alberta Government at the ERCB Lab. Ken will be sadly missed by his wife, Janice; his children, Dean (Olga), Brad (Christine), Val, Shelly (Don), and Ed (Stacey); grandchildren, Amy (Dave), Danielle, Ryan, Paige, and Cohen; great-granddaughter, Emily; and surviving sister, Agnes. We would like to thank the staff at Clifton Manor for their care. A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held at a later date.
