Lawrence "Monty" Sharber

From Brian and Ken our condolences to family, Minnie was Kens mom's sister and my great aunt that makes us 1 & 2nd cousins. We may not have seen each other in our life but as kids seen each other fairly often nothing but good memories he will be missed. ~ Brian Fode and Ken Fode

It was with sincere sorrow we heard of Monty's passing. Monty's mom was my father's sister and their family, Uncle Pete, Aunt Trudy, Monty and his sister Lois, all were a large part of my youth growing up. Monty's musical talent was extraordinary and his sense of humor is something I will never forget. Time and change separated us during adulthood but upon meeting again, it was like we were transported back to childhood. I will cherish his memory and be grateful for having him in my life. Neither Monty or I had a brother, growing up. We cousins [Monty's dad Pete and my mom Ann were brother and sister] got together most summers, in Regina or in Sioux Lookout. We had great amounts of fun ~ perogie-eating contests, exploring, going for car rides with Uncle Mike, play of all kinds. I miss you, cousin Monty. Rest easy.
