The family of Betty Eileen (Shantz) Schrader regrets to announce her passing on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 77 years. Betty is lovingly remembered by her son, Allan (Anne) Shantz; daughters, Diana Welsh and Lisa Schrader; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley O’Conner; brother, “Skip” Morgan; brother-in-law, Murray Schrader; sister-in-law, Doreen Schrader as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty is predeceased by her spouse, Clarence Schrader. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 202 5913 – 50 Avenue, Red Deer, AB, T4N 4C4.
