The family of James Arthur Scott regrets to announce his passing on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the age of 71 years at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. James is lovingly remembered by daughter, Debra (Mike) Lafond; granddaughter, Nicole; son, Donald Scott; mother, Jean Decker; brother, Brian (Helen) Scott and their children; sister, Cathy (Lorne) Badry and their son, Christopher and numerous other friends and relatives. James is predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Shirley Scott; and by his father, Art Scott. As per Jim’s request, a Private Family ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please remember Jim in your thoughts.

Donald, Debbie, Mike and Nicole. We were so sad to hear of your Father's passing. He was a hard worker and he fought the battle with grace and dignity. Your Father and Mother were our best friends and we enjoyed many holidays to the States, celebrating each other's birthdays and also spending New Years Eve together.
