I'm very sorry for your loss. Shawn was a great neighbor and close family friend. My late father, Dave Filipchuk, and Shawn would spend almost every summer evening together on the porch on Capitol Hill Crescent. Shawn was so kind to everyone and very helpful to my family (my dad was in a wheelchair). One of my favorite memories was how carefully Shawn fet yogurt to Bucky, the baby jack rabbit he rescued from a crow. Bucky fit in the palm of Shawn's hand. He nursed him back to health and Bucky grew up to be much bigger before being released into the wild. ~ Sarah Wiens
