SCHULTZ, George August

George was born December 15, 1932 in Camper, MB and passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 in Calgary, AB surrounded by his family. George is lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Martha Schultz (Tingley); his three children, Steve Schultz (Jolyn), Jann Schmidt (Paul), and Jeff Schultz (Karie Ann) who each gave him two beautiful grandchildren.

George was the quintessential joker that lived his life to love and laugh with family and friends. No funeral service will be held. A Celebration of Life will take place in August. Donations may be made in George's memory to the Veterans' Affairs (http://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/contact). Thanks to the caring nurses and doctors of both the Peter Lougheed and Foothills hospitals.

Celebration of Life will take place at the Crossfield United Church on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm

Dearest Steve, Jann, Jeff & Marty; Our families (Roger, Shirley & Clayton) used to spend fun times together when I was a kid (camping, etc.). I have such fond memories of George. He used to call me "Helga" which made me laugh. I lived in Crossfield for a short time as was able to see George in my 20's again. My sincerest condolences go out to you at this difficult time.
