Ryan George Snell
August 12, 1979 - April 4 2025
It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ryan Snell at age 45. Ryan grew up in Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan. After leaving Pilot Butte, Ryan lived in Calgary for eight years working in the oil industry before returning to Regina to work in the carpentry trade. Ryan had a passion for music and he would often pick up his guitar and play one of his favorite tunes. Ryan loved spending time at Lake Diefenbaker and Last Mountain Lake, fishing for hours either out in a boat or on the ice in the winter. He also loved sitting around a campfire at night laughing, singing and chatting with friends and family.
Ryan was predeceased by his father Stan Snell, stepfather Roy Harcourt and uncle Greg Lamb. Ryan leaves to mourn his mother Nancy Snell, brother Craig Snell, stepsister Jamie Schwartz (Darrin), aunts Cindy Manderscheid (Alan), Pat Lamb, Kris Dolter (Les); cousins, Jared Manderscheid (Sandi), Devyn Manderscheid, Nick Lamb (Janice), Angela Witherington (Mike), Trevor Dolter (Shelley), Kelley Elliot (Aaron), Erin Weist (John), Aaron Snell (Terri).
Ryan will be remembered for his caring, sensitive ways and willingness to help others whenever he could. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for later in the summer.
You liked that old time rock 'n' roll
That kind of music that just soothes the soul
You’d reminisce about the days of old
With that old time rock 'n' roll

We’re so sorry to hear about Ryan. We have so many fond memories of our fun times at Palliser Park, our 2 families boating, fishing, water skiing and sitting around the campfires. The 4 boys, wearing their life jackets and fishing off of the docks. I’m sure Darcy & Ryan are reminiscing and hanging out together. Big hugs and praying for you.
