Tom passed away on Sunday morning July 28 at the age of 70 years. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Cornelius Reginald Rogers and Helen Louise Rogers (Simons). Tom is lovingly remembered by his wife, Theo Rogers; son, Dustin (Michelle Lynn) Rogers and granddaughter, Kaydence Carolann Rogers; sister-in-law, Glenna Sortland (Floyd ); brother-in-laws, Douglas (Geri) and Michael (Barbara); several nieces and nephews; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Tom is predeceased by his parents, Cornelius and Helen; his wife's parents, Ed and Carol Sandor; his Uncle Roy and Auntie Mabel, who took him under their wings after his father died; half brothers Bill, Reginald, Robert and Bob; half sisters, Betty and Pat; nephew, Jimmy Roberts and sister-in-law Cyndy Sandor. Tom will now forever wrap his wings around our 3 unborn children Faith, Hope and Charity.
A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held in the Autumn. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to The Boys & Girls Club of Calgary/Renfrew, 731 – 13 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 1C8; Calgary Humane Society, 4455 – 110 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB T2C 2T7 or Kidney Foundation/ Research Calgary, 6007 – 1A Street SW, Calgary, AB T2H 0G5.
