Ross Roenspiess

Ross Roenspiess of Calgary, AB passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 after a lengthy illness. Ross was born in Annaheim, Sask.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Audrey; his 2 sons, Darrell and Keith (Chris); 2 daughters, Valerie (Mike) and Trudy (Dave); and grandchildren, Chloe, Drew, Maddison, Mathew and Kai. He will also be remembered by his brothers, Jim and Joe; and sister Elaine.

Ross spent 32 years in the Canadian Armed Forces prior to his retirement to Calgary 1987. He was an avid skier, played hockey and golf.

The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care he received at Bethany Harvest Hills.

I am so sorry to hear about Ross. He was a great person and personal friend . My condolences go out to you and your family Audrey. Ross was a tremendous supervisor and great military comrade. It is with great sadness and remiss that I learn of my mentor and dear friend Ross’ passing. I lost touch with him and Audrey when I left Calgary for retirement on the coast. Ross and I served together in several postings both in Canada and Overseas. Some of the fondest memories of our friendship was golfing and skiing in the Banff area together.
