ROBERTSON, Hazel Madelyn Eleanor

Hazel Madelyn Eleanor Robertson was born on November 12, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Didsbury, Alberta at the age of 88 years.

Hazel resided in the Cremona/Dog Pound area for most of her life. On April 10, 1950 she married her lifelong companion, Leon Ritchie Robertson in Cremona. They would go on to live many happy years farming and contributing to their community.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by son, Neil (Colleen) and their daughters, Chelsea and Courtney; son, Ryan and his son, Aaron (Alana) and their children, Eli-Leon and Cecelia-Hazel, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Hazel is predeceased by her husband, Leon; sister, Lorna Gano; and her parents, GZH van Haaften and Eleanor Tyson van Haaften.

She will be sadly missed.

At Hazel’s request, there will be a Private Family Service at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Hazel’s memory to a charity of your choice.
