ROBERTSON, Dorothy Jean

June 2, 1946 - August 30, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Jean Robertson, nee Colbey on Monday, August 30, 2021.

Dorothy was born in Lockport, NY, where she grew up and excelled in school, especially music. She had many achievements that include winning Miss Lockport and third runner up at Miss New York State, as well as being accepted into the Toronto Conservatory of Music. She sang wonderfully and always captivated people with her beautiful voice. She spent the rest of her days settling down and raising her children. She had an intense love for animals as well.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Mark and Jamie; and her daughter, Kimberley; as well as her granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Ashlynn. Dorothy was predeceased by her granddaughter, Baylea, in 2019; and her father, James, in 1973.

If you wish to honour Dorothy, in lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to an animal shelter or rescue of your choosing.
