May 29, 1924 – March 18, 2015

Freda was born 90 years ago in Alsask, SK and died in Claresholm, AB at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Her life, though not always easy, was a good one sustained by her strong faith and deep love for, and of, her family and friends. She was a gentle, loving soul with a sparkle in her eye, a terrific sense of humour and a kind word for all.

Freda will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bill Reynolds; sister, Jean Lund; three children, Sharon, Sheila and Kevin; three step-children, Greg, Stan and Becky; daughter-in-law, Charlene McNabb; son-in-law, Evan Thomas; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many, many dear friends.

She was predeceased, in 2003, by her son Keith McNabb. A Funeral Service will be at St. John’s Anglican Church, Claresholm on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be may be made in Freda’s memory to St. John's.

This is my dear Aunty Freda, also my godmother and second Mom. I know she is at peace with the lord and walking with the angels now. She so deserves this much needed rest. Her work here on this earth is done. She will be forever remembered and forever loved. She was a unique, loving, genuine lady who always had a heart and soul of pure gold. My sorrow and condolences go out to her immediate family, her daughters Sharon & Shiela, her son Kevin, her sister Jean Lund,Charlene Mcnabb & family, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. My fondest memories gather round the late 1960 when the Big Country Riding and Roping Club was going strong in Oyen and anyone with a horse was involved in the gymkhana events and the pony chucks and chariots. So much fun.
