Renate Fengler

Renate Fengler passed away September 3 / 2026 at the young age of 76 at the Fraser Canyon Hospital, Hope, British Columbia.

Renate is pre-deceased by her husband Larry Fengler, and mother and father Kurt and Anna Fengler.

She leaves behind her children, Anthony (Rhonda) Kurucz, Teena (Colin) Neugebauer, Leigh (Kelly) Kurucz, her sister Christel Terry (Pat Skakun). She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren: James, Shayla, Brandie, Levi, Marnie, Kurtis, and 5 great grandchildren.

Renate loved her cats and spoiled them like crazy. She loved to garden, read many many books, do crossword puzzles, and colour. She like to go for drives and be outdoors. She loved to spend time with her sister and visit and talk on the phone with her children.

Renate was a very loving, positive, and happy woman who will be greatly missed by whoever got to know her. She touched many hearts.

Renate’s family would like to thank the staff at the Fraser Canyon Hospital for all the exceptional loving care she received during her stay. The staff was very compassionate in all they did for her.
