Randall Reidy

Randy John Reidy passed away following a lengthy illness on Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was born in Red Deer, Alberta to parents Fern and Jack Reidy on February 16, 1959, attending school in Red Deer from grades one to twelve. He had a love for sports, particularly football, and excelled at most things he tried. Randy will be long remembered for his handsome good looks, his huge smile, wry humour, and twinkling blue eyes. His heart was big and his soul was gentle. Randy truly loved dogs, having a "buddy" with him throughout most of his life. He was a loyal friend, co-worker, brother, and uncle, always providing a laugh, despite what life brought his way. Randy is survived by: partner, Kristi Sheldan (Airdre, AB), his sister, Jackie Roberts (Victoria, BC), brother Cameron Reidy (Red Deer, AB), niece, Shara Grice (Victoria, BC), niece, and Lindsay Grice (Calgary, AB). He was predeceased by his Mom and Dad. At Randy's request, there will be no service. Donations in his memory may be made to Central Alberta Humane Society (403-342-7722/ www.cahumane.com). Until we meet again, Randy, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Randy "RJ", you now have peace. You are free from pain. But it is far to soon . I know Kristi has been by your side for years now. Giving you support and helping you along the way. You will be greatly missed. ~ angela

My first love. Just found out your passing over to the light. The “light” that you were on earth. “PalmSprings” “Seka” “Tight Jeans” “the Penthouse” Calgary, Phase IV Resources , love. Radium Hot Springs. Stupid insurance companies. Love. I’m devastated you are gone. I was thrilled you found love. I feel you died “loved” and so you should have . The world has a little less light without you on it ! I can’t sneak anymore “peaks” about how you are doing. Today was gray without you in it. Enjoy the light. Forgive me ~ Karen Scott
