In Loving Memory ofReid William Attilio Valli

July 21, 2001 – October 2, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and sadness beyond comprehension that we announce the passing of our dear and cherished son, Reid William Attilio Valli, at the age of 25, of Mission, British Columbia.

Born in Abbotsford, BC, Reid was raised and spent his life in Mission. The beloved second child and only son of Maria and Ian, and a devoted brother to Rachel, Reid’s roots in the Fraser Valley ran deep.

Reid will be forever remembered for his profound devotion and love for his family, his home, and his pets. A true outdoorsman at heart, he loved hiking and cared for the family pets beyond measure. Reid shared a uniquely close bond with his parents. He spent cherished summer days boating with his dad, and throughout the winter months from the ages of 8 to 18, he poured his passion into playing hockey. Known for a wicked wrist shot that routinely beat opposing goalies, Reid played both house and Rep hockey until he was 18. His love for the game continued long after, as an avid fan who could regale anyone with detailed NHL statistics and player histories, possessing an uncanny knack for remembering everything about the sport.

Reid is survived by his mother and stepfather, Maria and Brent (and stepsisters Breanne (Tyler) and Courtney (Roy)); his father, Ian (Julie, Kirk, Trent and Clay) Ann Valli his grandmother; and his sister, Rachel (Caleb). He will also be deeply missed by his seven aunts and uncles, thirteen cousins, and five second cousins, along with a wide circle of extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Attilio and Nella Sirianni and his paternal grandfather, William Valli.

Reid was taken from us far too soon, and words cannot express how deeply we are saddened that he will not experience the full life we so desperately wanted for him. His soft presence, gentle spirit, and loving manner will stay with us until we meet again. There will not be a day that goes by where he will not live on in our hearts and in our thoughts.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of Reid to the BC Mental Health Foundation.
