Henry Ravn

It is with great sadness the family of Henry Ravn announce his passing on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the age of 79 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Anna; daughter, Alice (Terry) Kennedy; grandsons, Jeremiah (Veronika) and Shawn; Anna’s daughter, Kathe, and her family; sisters, Grethe and Dagny in Denmark; many extended relatives and friends in Canada, Denmark and Norway; and special friend Gerry, who made Thursday’s very special for Henry. Henry was born in Denmark, came to Calgary in 1963 and started his own business – Andy’s Welding, with his partner Knud. He could always be found in the basement or garage tinkering and fixing things. Henry enjoyed camping, hiking, skiing and family vacations. He especially enjoyed his most recent family trip, a Mediterranean cruise and visit to Denmark with his entire family. At Henry’s request, no service will be held.
