Gotthilf “Gordon” Rauser

Gotthilf “Gordon” Rauser passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2011, just two months short of 99 years. . He was born the youngest of nine children. He married Emilie Weintz on November 3, 1935 and had two children, a son and a daughter. Gordon is lovingly remembered by his daughter Inge (Alex) Hoffmann, daughter-in-law, Christa Rauser; grandchildren Harold (Kathy), Sigrid, Carolyn (Rene) and great-grandchildren, Emilia, Caitlin, Tanya, Nicolette, Anthony, Daniel and Jessica. He was predeceased by his wife Emilie and his son Helmut. Gordon’s family wishes to thank the staff who cared for him so lovingly at Newport Harbour Care Centre over the past two years. A Memorial Service will be held at Renfrew Baptist Church, 1204 Renfrew Drive NE, Calgary on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 12:00 pm. A private family interment will take place.

Dear Inge and Alex, Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. I am Johannes Rauser's your dad's cousins daughter. We heard about your dads passing from your neighbour, she was Ruth Hennigs sister at a 50th anniversary in Whitemouth. I do not have your phone number or address. I would like to talk to you.
