Elly Raskin

After living 93 wonderful years, Elly passed away peacefully at the Santuari Hospice.

He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Marjorie. He leaves to mourn his three sons; Keith (Sandra), Dale (Theresa) , Terrance (Melodie), grandchildren, Denise (Ed), Lance (Jeannette), Neil, Devin (Christina) and six great-grandchildren. His last years were spent with his companion Gladys Meddins who always kept him smiling. Elly grew up in Rumsey, Alberta and later served 4 years with the 14th Canadian Armoured Regiment (Calgary Tanks ) during the Second World War. He was a businessman in Calgary and Vancouver. In retirement, Elly was a proud military man and volunteered at The Military Museums.His family Celebrated his Life with a Private Service at the Field of Honour, Queen’s Park Cemetery.
