To the family and friends that she touched her life and sparkle with a touch of sass myself and my family send you condolences. Her memories will be imprinted on all of us forever. My heart hurts that she has left all of us but grateful her life was so full. She adored her family and most of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always lit up when she spoke of all of you. I loved how this tiny woman had a heart bigger than the world and the love she received was even bigger than her. I send my love, my blessings to your memories and my hope that hearts will heal as she is now on her new journey with her husband and family that watches over you all. I was 8 when Mavis sailed to Canada and was so upset she was leaving but she told me never to forget that it was the same sky over her that was over me and that helped me over the first years. Mavis always seemed to have the right words at the right time. Heaven has found its missing angel ~ Edna and Peter Willis
Auntie Mavis was a very gentle, kind and considerate lady. I know mum missed her dearly and even though she was far away she was always on the end of the phone. Auntie Mavis came over to England for my marriage to Mark in 2000 and again she luckily was over in 2010, along with Susan, and was able to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and also the christening on our 2 children Nathan and Emily, which I will always be grateful to her for being at 2 important events in my life, so thank you Auntie Mavis. We wish we could be there at your celebration for life but with mum and especially dad being poorly I don’t feel comfortable leaving them. Good morning, we would like to make a contribution on behalf of some family in England in respect of the recent passing on Mavis Randall and wondered if you could forward the Salvation Army details that the donation should be made too please? Also, as we are in England, my mother Edna Willis (Sister to Mavis) is not well enough to fly long haul anymore and wondered if there would be a live stream of the “Celebration of Life” that we could watch, to feel like she is taking part? Mavis was a bright spark at her retirement home, often taking the role of hostess for her neighbours at our monthly chapel service we enjoyed sharing together over the last 6 years as Salvation Army officers. Well done good and faithful servant! The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it - Mavis, you have been promoted to glory! Thank you for your sense of humour and good nature, always encouraging others around you to know they are loved by God. ~ Renee McFadden
