There was something life-affirming about the way Stacy radiated kindness and generosity and devotion. When the big Ellestad family was together in 2015, I was so grateful to him for his energy and spirit, and to have had the chance to toss the ball with him and his kids; just like in the old days in Red Deer. We are so sorry for the pain of his loss in your family. I hope his light will help to guide all of you as you move through grief and into healing. With our love, Mark and Leslie Ellestad and family ~ Mark Ellestad

So sorry to hear of Stacy's passing. He will be missed by all. Although we didn't have many get-togethers over the years, we really appreciated the regular updates in the form of cards and letters sent to us by Ruscel and Stacy. His death brings back thoughts of Stacy's wonderful mother, Pearl, who was also taken from us at a much too young age. We will be attending Stacy's remembrance on Wednesday. Uncle Lorne, Aunt Marion (not able to attend are cousins, Leanne Dirksen and Craig Ellestad) ~ Lorne Ellestad
