Thelma "Maxine" Pfisterer

Mom passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2013 in the Carewest, Sarcee Hospice. She is survived by her daughter, Louise (Dan) Leptich; granddaughters, Ashley & Nicole; sister, Iris Mahood of Smithers, B.C.; step-brothers, Calvin (Donna) of Winnipeg, MB & Terry (Caroline) of Camrose, AB; god-daughter, Joanne (Shaun) Tenold. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, and son, David. Maxine was born in Dauphin, MB on October 30, 1928. As to my mothers wishes, there will be no Funeral Service. Friends and family are invited to her home on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm for a Celebration of Life. If friends so wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in Maxine’s honor may be made to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, 2888 Shaganappi Trail NW, Calgary, AB, T3B 6A8.
